Developed new methods to measure urinary levels of several common chemicals (bisphenol A (BPA) and triclosan) found in consumer products and then analyzed 1st trimester urine samples from MIREC participants for these chemicals.
This Biobank project developed new methods to measure bisphenol A (BPA) and triclosan in urine samples and then analyzed 1st trimester urine samples from MIREC participants for these chemicals. These results were compared with those from other pregnancy studies as well as national-level surveys.
