This project is measuring associations between prenatal exposure to various chemicals and autistic traits in young children, and also examining whether certain nutrients could be consumed to reduce any harmful effects of the chemical exposures.
This Biobank project is identifying and measuring chemicals and nutrients that may be targets for intervention for widespread public health impact in regard to autistic traits in kids. These include folate, ubiquitous air pollutants, pesticides, and phthalates.
